Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her portrayals of public defense Christine Sullivan in NBCs sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels on ABCs drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBSs sitcom Hearts Afire. She's appeared on several other series in addition to acting. She is the daughter of scientist Richard F. Post and his wife poet Marylee Post was raised in Walnut Creek and Stanford alongside her twin siblings. Las Lomas High School is where she was a student and took part in cheerleading. She studied briefly at Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. In a private note, Post was once engaged with Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross has been her husband and co-writer from 1982. Together, they are parents to two children.
